Hamburg Süd is one of the ten largest container shipping brands in the world, with over 250 offices in more than 100 countries around the globe. Our focus is on our customers. As part of Maersk, the global integrator of container logistics, we offer our customers access to the most extensive network of liner services and the largest fleet of vessels in the world. What’s more, we devise integrated solutions for our customers that go far beyond mere shipping. And that would no longer be possible without intelligent IT systems. This is why almost 200 of the roughly 1,000 employees in our Hamburg headquarters are IT experts. Working together in international teams with their colleagues at Maersk, they develop new applications and make them ready for the market. Our IT experts work on cutting-edge projects related to digitizing the supply chain and are engaged with state-of-the-art technologies – including artificial intelligence, blockchain and the Internet of Things – every day.
